Voices from the Forest Festival with the yawanawa

Saturday 1st June

We’re excited to announce that we will be hosting three members of the Yawanawa at Lopemede Farm for a day of dancing, singing, ceremony and wisdom sharing.

The Yawanawa are an Amazonian Tribe from the Brazilian rainforest, with profound and ancient knowledge of how to live in deeper connection with nature and with each other.

This day of festivities will include: Opening yoga and grounding meditation, conversations about the ancient origin of plant medicines, songs from the forest and dancing, body-painting and crafts, Rapé Ceremony (Amazonian tobacco plant medicine), closing concert.
